Being in Bali you actually end up doing a lot of small trips to here and there. There are many great places to see just right around the corner, you don’t even need to leave the country to have an experience. I think I have more and more post material every free minute I spend with my camera on this island. Not to even mention the mid break holiday to come. And I promise I will make you guys a post with more detailed info on the places I’ve visited and will visit during my stay. Something that actually benefits you if you are travelling around here. However since I love pictures I want to share them as my priority, and maybe they will be the reason for your visit, who knows.
These pictures were taken a while back, to be honest, during our first weekend trip to Ubud. To quote Wikipedia: Ubud is a town on the Indonesian island of Bali in Ubud District, located amongst rice paddies and steep ravines in the central foothills of the Gianyar regency. Living right in the middle of Seminyak with hell like traffic and many people the change of scenery was considerable. After an hour drive, everything around you looked so much greener. Everything was blooming and even though it is in the middle of nowhere, built only for the tourists, nothing seemed to be in conflict with the nature. If you’re one to love a calm quiet atmosphere with nice views, I definitely recommend visiting. And if you’re more of a city girl, like myself, just enjoy the pictures!
